Bosnian Soccer Team – Suspension Lifted
The Executive Committee of the International Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday in Zurich decided to repeal the suspension Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Secretary General of NSBiH Donna Bako said the decision is final and shall not be discussed at the Congress on Wednesday announced from NSBiH.
Remember, the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was officially suspended from international competition April first this year because of not adopting the provisions of the Statute which required a FIFA and UEFA. The Statute was adopted unanimously on May 26th session of the Assembly NSBiH followed by lifting the suspension of BH clubs and national team.
The Bosnian Soccer Team on Friday is expected to visit Romania in UEFA 2012 qualifying round in group D, while four days later Bosnia hosts Albania in Zenica.
Bosnia has gathered it soccer player on Saturday and did a couple of practice drills to get ready for the soccer game. If Bosnia makes it in to the UEFA 2012 it will be the first time the small country will be in a major soccer tournament.
